Participar al Congreso El diálogo entre expertos, profesores con experiencia y jóvenes investigadores es un elemento clave del Congreso. Por lo tanto, en línea con las últimas ediciones del Congreso de Cultura Europea, le invitamos a enriquecer el contenido del Congreso con su comunicación, que, en su caso, será incluida en la publicación electrónica de las Actas del Congreso. Strategic Energy Technology Plan Conference 2013 (Dublin, 7-8 May 2013)
The European SET Plan Conference will take place in the Royal Hospital Kilmainham (RHK), Dublin, Ireland on 7-8 May 2013, under Ireland’s Presidency of the EU. The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland, on behalf of the Irish Government’s Department of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources, is hosting this important conference in partnership with the European Commission. The Conference will hold discussions on EU progress in accelerating the development and market roll-out of energy technologies.
The conference will entail representation from European Commissioners and National Ministerial representatives where key messages will be conveyed concerning the future important role that energy research will play in decarbonising our societies. A Gala Dinner is scheduled after the first conference day which, in conjunction with other networking opportunities, will enable attendees to reflect upon the Conference sessions, and to discuss the possible outcome and conclusions, which will be the a key topic of the final conference day. EuroSME2013. Innovation: A business Opportunity for SMEs (Dublin, 11-12 June 2013)
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are a key driver for sustainable growth and job creation as they represent 99% of businesses in the EU. Therefore, supporting SMEs through ensuring a competitive business environment has always been high on the agenda of the European Commission. In the current economic situation these powerful motors of the economy in the Member States deserve even more attention to ensure that they have the means to develop their full potential and thus deliver smart, sustainable and inclusive growth- the main priorities of theEurope 2020 Strategy. To tackle this challenge, innovation and cutting-edge business ideas play a key role in remaining competitive.
EuroSME2013, a conference organised under the Irish Presidency of the Council of the EU entitled “Innovation: A business Opportunity for SMEs” will focus on how these enterprises can integrate innovative methods in their business activity to achieve EU objective. The event, co-sponsored byEnterprise Ireland and the Commission, will bring together hundreds of entrepreneurs, policy makers, SME support organisations from the private and public sectors to create a networking experience and an opportunity to exchange ideas on how small companies can contribute to growth despite the challenges of the 21st century. Horizon 2020, the EU’s upcoming Framework Programme for Research and Innovation will be another highlight of the conference with presentations focusing on the SME-related specific features of the Programme. Student Conference in Maribor (Maribor, Slovenia, 1-15 July 2013)
This year we will organize SCiM (Student Conference in Maribor) for the 15th time. SCIM 2013 will this year start on 1st July and end on 10th July 2013. We are glad and proud to invite you, also this year to Maribor – I feel sLOVEnia. In 9 days you will have the opportunity to be active in different workshops, go on weekend trip around sLOVEnia, be active, sociable, meet new people, party and simply do something beneficial for yourself this summer. This year’s topic is connected with the European year of Citizens.
SCiM is the biggest project of the Department of International Affairs, at the Student Organization of University in Maribor. Each year more than 50 students from different countries are gathered on this event. [+]
